All about Scrotoplasty

 Sometimes radiation, infection, or cancer can lead to swelling from abnormal accumulation of lymph in the penis and testicles.  Tissue may be removed from the scrotum to restore function.

Scrotoplasty in genital cancers

 If you have testicular cancer, your doctor may want to perform surgery to remove any lumps.  This can cause the skin to become damaged, and your doctor may perform scrotoplasty to repair it.

 Scrotoplasty in loose skin

 Keeping the surgical site clean and avoiding activity for a few weeks can help you avoid complications after scrotal surgery.  Your doctor may use a tight underwear to support you.
